Node Endpoints
One way to have your own direct connection to the network is by running your own node, It gives you more control and privacy.
Another option is to use Selendra's public endpoints. These are like shortcuts that let you connect to the network without needing to run your own node. It's convenient and easy, especially if you're just getting started.
Main Network
Network | URL |
---|---|
Mainnet 0 | wss://rpc0.selendra.org |
Mainnet 1 | wss://rpc1.selendra.org |
Test Network
Network | URL |
---|---|
Testnet 0 | wss://rpc0-testnet.selendra.org |
Testnet 1 | wss://rpc1-testnet.selendra.org |
An Example using Polkadot-JS
To connect to the Selendra node, use the endpoint in your JavaScript apps like so:
// Using the Selendra Mainnet Endpoint
const { ApiPromise, WsProvider } = require('@polkadot/api');
async () => {
// Construct a provider with the endpoint URL
const provider = new WsProvider('wss://rpc.selendra.org/');
// Create an API instance for Selendra
const api = await ApiPromise.create({ provider });
// ...
